I’ve got previous file accesses on my Experian report from Credit Savvy that are not made by me. Who do I contact regarding this?

If you’ve noticed file accesses on your Experian credit report from Credit Savvy that you don’t recognise, there are a couple of possible reasons:

  • You may have previously created a Credit Savvy account — this allowed us to access your Experian credit file to provide your credit score and report. We removed this service in May 2025, but it may still show on your credit file.

  • From 14 May 2025 onwards, Credit Savvy also provides a free credit score service through the CommBank app. If you have accessed your credit score through the CommBank app, you will have appointed Credit Savvy as your access seeker, which allows us to retrieve your Experian credit information.

  • If you did not create a Credit Savvy account and haven’t used the CommBank app to check your credit score, we recommend doing the following:

    1. Contact Experian to report any unauthorised or incorrect file accesses so they can update your record.

    2. Get in touch with Credit Savvy at [email protected] so we can investigate further on our end.
